Abstract
The school environment is a condition that exists within the scope of the school, both in the form of physical and non-physical. The school environment is believed to be able to help teachers to grow motivation in carrying out their main tasks and abilities as professionals. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of proving assumptions regarding the influence of the school environment and extrinsic motivation on teacher costs. The method used in the implementation of this research refers to a quantitative description. The population is 125 people, and is used as a trial sample of 30 people and the main sample of the study is 95 people. Data were obtained through technical questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis in this study was carried out using inferential statistics through simple correlation tests, multiple correlation tests, t tests and F tests. quite influential. 2) there is an influence of extrinsic motivation on teacher performance with the contribution of the influence being categorized as moderate or moderately influential. 3) there is a simultaneous influence of the school environment and extrinsic motivation on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Jejawi District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The influence contributed by the school environment and extrinsic motivation on teacher costs is included in the moderate or moderate category.
