Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of using a translator dictionary application on the listening ability of students at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. The research focused on tenth grade students and involved one experimental class consisting of 33 students. In this study, students used a translator dictionary application during listening activities to help them understand vocabulary and audio content. Data were collected throught listening tests administered before and after the treatment. The results showed that students experienced a significant improvement in their listening ability after using the application. These findings indicate that the use of a translator dictionary application can be an effective tool to support students’ listening skills, particularly in enhancing vocabulary compherension and overall audio understanding.
