Abstract
This research aims to analyzed the use of AI Voice Chatbot in enhancing or improving students’ speaking skill at State Junior High School Number 14 Palembang. Using a qualitative method, this study evaluate how AI Voice Chatbot gives impact in students’ speaking skill. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation consisting an English teacher and 31 students from the 8th grade of State Junior High School Number 14 Palembang. The findings revealed that AI Voice Chatbot makes the learning process more interesting, the teacher has a new way of teaching speaking at school. AI Voice Chatbot make students feel like they have a partner to talk in English, the AI Voice Chatbot helps the students improving their vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and grammar. Talking with the AI Voice Chatbot make them feel more confidence to speak without afraid of having a mistake.
