Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a significant difference in the reading skill of twelfth-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Belitang III who are taught to use the Wattpad application as the digital literacy media compared to students who do not use it in the 2024-2025 school year. This research was carried out beacuse of the problem encountered such as students lack in reading skill and students being bored with the media used during the learning process based on observations. The research used a Quantitative quasi-experimental method with data collection using pre-test and post-test. The population of this research is twelfth-grade students with the sample consisted 60 students in classes 12.2 and 12.7. the results showed the difference between the average post-test score of experiment and control class is 12,83 where the average score of the experiment class is 82,83 and control class is 70. So it could be concluded that there was a significant difference in the reading skill of the twelfth-grade students at State Senior High School 1 Belitang III who were taught using Wattpad application as the digital literacy media compared to those who were not.
